「 bouncing away 11:05 PM 」

The past 2 or 3 days, many things happened.
Both good and bad.

First, the good...

  1. The night out with dad
  2. David's home-coming - fellowship-ed at home then at ECP
  3. Good sharing time at special kids' parent-meet-teacher session
  4. Recognised
  5. My cash supply made it through this month

Then, the middle...

  1. Worship leading session

Finally, the bad...

  1. Found out that a friend met with an accident
  2. Found out that another friend did time
  3. Getting real tired of Java
  4. Rashes spreading

Looking back, this weekend seemed interesting. But I'm tired out. Really tired.

OH
MY
GOOOSSEEE!!
I don't believe what I did with you.
Not the dinner, but the one after.
I still don't.
Someone die die also wanted me to choose a place for dinner.
So New York New York we went.
Well, let me first introduce you to...

My dear fudder! :))

After dinner, we went to some place that starts with the letter f seen on the coaster for...
a DRINK!
(shhh... don't tell my parents. Please.)
High class one.
FULLERTON HOTEL.

We sat there for a couple of hours, like 3 hours? with a bottle of wine.
Had a talk. A really really good one.
First time ever did I go drink with someone ALONE;
First time ever did I go drink with someone whom I never expect to go with.
Think this is the first time he ever saw me drink .
And so much some more.
He was so scared I couldn't drink and worried that I would have a hang over.
Oh wells.
To sum it all up, I had a GREAT night
&
Blessed Birthday Dad!

「 bouncing away 11:02 AM 」

This morning while I was brushing my teeth, I thought to myself -
Why do I make my bed every morning only to mess it up again each night?

I make my bed because my parents ask me to do so.
They say it makes the room and house look neater.
I do it so that I won't get a scolding for nothing.
That's obedience I guess.

Then I thought.
If I obey my parents in these little things, I should also obey my father in heaven.
The little things He request, I should do it.
And I should do it without complaining, I should do it with gladness.
In the same way, the little things that He ask me to do, He wants to make my life more orderly, piecing the pieces together to make the perfect picture that He would be proud of.

... and I thought a swim would help.

-

Dinner-ed at some resturant to celebrate Fathers' Day, grandfather's birthday and cousin's return...
It (especially the fellowship) was kinda disappointing.
But God really provided.
At least for me, for next week!

Isaiah 29:13 - The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honour me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught be men."

Thought - are you a Sunday christian? Does your heart match up to what you are doing/saying or are you doing/saying things just because it's what you should do and is a 'model answer'?

Make everything you do or say be pleasing to God. Make it a worship to Him.

I've been hanging out with my dear fudder alot recently. Which is good. The small talk before the show was good. I love going out with you dad! XDD

Anyway, I'm looking forward for tonight though you might not be. heh. Take that first step of faith and you'll see yourself going up more!

The water bottle you got me... errr...

Euro 2008 is not a good sport.
It's unhealthy.
Friends in the course have been betting.
Especially the guys.
Not just 1 game, but every game.
And their bets are not small.
They are HUGE.
Like the France game, 1 friend lost $300.
Then yesterday's game for Portugal, another friend lost $200.

They have the pull ups, step up, monkey bars, hamester (log) roll, 2 parallel bars thingy, etc.
Quek say the 2 parallel bars thingy is for you to train your neh neh, to make your neh neh stronger.
Gosh!
He actually showed you how it works lah.

And and
The clique's been saying people 'fan jian'.

「 bouncing away 10:16 PM 」

Last night after supper at Simpang, we took a drive to Changi Village, just to see...
...
REN YAO (aqua).

On our way there and even during the drive round the carpark, Miss Soo was super HIGH can.
So excited that she's gonna see ren yao. Don't know so excited for what.
See already even MORE high.
Siao one.
We actually witness one ren yao hop onto the car in front of ours.
Before she hopped on the car, she asked "me?"
We were all shocked.
We wanted to follow the car infront of ours to see where they were headed next but figured it wasn't a wise idea, so we turned the other way.

I never knew Changi Village would have so MANY ren yao.
They actually have enough to surround the entire carpark!
Their boobs, so huge so fake.
Gosh!

Oh. before we drove to the ren yao place, we went to some aviation centre to see stars.
Super far in, super dark and scary.
Drive all the way in then looked to the sky and saw no star.
Sianz...

And if seeing ren yao wasn't enough, we went to geylang...
to see 'jis' (chicken in chinese).
So many of them.
Saw some buildings with rooms lit with red lights...

Reached home at 3am!
Woke up at 7am.
Super tired.
But I had a good time.

Out till late and out in the late night.
Which is bad.
Was out yesterday till like 12am.
And I'm going out again soon later, like at 1130pm for prata with 2 couples - Miss Soo & Miss Tum.

Sigh...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUEK!!

Dinner for the 8 of us cost $159.35!
Edmund, you should have gone lah.
Everyone went except you.
Laughed a lot.
Relieved stress.
Sometimes, it's good to make fun of our own clique.

Quek, the girls wish you and your Ling Ling...

Us (w/o Edmund) on some bridge at Clarke Quay

Okay... I'm super broke already.
And it's only the begining of the month.
Why do so many people have to be born in June?

「 bouncing away 10:48 PM 」

Great, now I'm super frustrated over java and I don't feel like doing it anymore.
I feel like giving up but I can't or I'll be wasting the last 2 years in poly.
The codes just won't work.
Even my teacher is super DL about it, about the person who asked us to do this program.
The group and Mr Kwok sat down together for like 4 straight hours today, trying to solve the problem and he teaching us.
But we didn't succeed.
Then Mr Kwok realised that it is quite stupid for us to be rewriting the codes from SCRATCH when they already have the program.
It just makes no sense.

A portion of our convo -
Mr Kwok: "Do you know which group of people wrote the program?"
Us: "Java professionals?"
Mr Kwok: "Ya. A GROUP of professionals. A GROUP. Do you know how long they took to write the program?"
Us: "No, not very sure."
Mr Kwok: "2 years! And it's still not complete yet. How are you all going to finish it? Stupid right?"
Us: "*worried look* cher, we only got 19 weeks leh."
Mr Kwok: "That's why. How are you going to finish it. He siao lah. It's not practical lah... But anyway, we'll just do what we can on our end..."
Us: "Ok."

How are we gonna finish the project?!
Warrow. 12 CUs leh! 100% weightage!!
Sian lah.
