Buang my psycho presentation this evening. Well, the group wasn't prepared. AT ALL. As usual, the 2 pple in the group were late. So Alifi & I started first. Knowing well that we had to have everything submitted in today, they could still be late! How irresponsible can they be!
Then the time for presentation drew closer and closer. And we realised that we haven done many things. I was damn pissed and kinda blew it. But whatever lah. I did my part and that's that. I don't wanna care about it anymore.
3 more presentations to go this 3 more weeks and then it'll be the final sem's exams. I want the presentations and projects to be over and done with real soon. But it'll just mean that exams will come soon too. And I don't want that to happen cos I'm really really not ready for it. Haven't got the time to study for any subject and haven't got enough sleep. Imagine sleeping only for 3 hours the last 2 weeks! bleah.

So, I went to Changi General Hospital (CGH) for a field trip today.
Though it was just a small group of us who went, the trip was still fulfilling.
We visited the various departments like A&E, ICU, the different wards, Radiology, Endoscopy, Operating Theatre (OT) and... the MORTUARY.
Well, it was an interesting trip. The staff there brought us to see what we would not be able to on a normal day, for a normal person.
Nothing really interesting about the A&E, ICU, the different wards and Radiology departments. The three most interesting departments were, to me, the OT, the Endoscopy and the mortuary.
THE OT.
We got to see the OT, how it looks like what equipments were in the room. We got to see the knives, the operating tools which are used for an operation and stuff. Oh oh, and the large wash basin for the doctors and nurses to scrub themselves clean before and after a surgery. The robes which they put on, they throw it away after each use. Different coloured robes indicate differnt procedures.
The Endoscopy.
The department where the insert a huge, long tube either through your mouth, nose or butt. The scope, or rather, tube is huge and I mean it. Sorry, no pics were allowed, so i can't show you the actual size. And goodness. This scope is able to pick out and show you clearly, if your intestine is clean. And my gosh. One patient's intestine wasn't clear, so we could see the feaces! Yuck!
Finally, the MORTUARY.
We requested to visit this department. Only 1 uncle runs this ENTIRE department. I admire his courage. "Fridges" store the dead bodies horizontally. Each fridge can hold 3 bodies and this bodies are kept at a temperature of 4 degrees. Then, the uncle OPENED one of the fridge for us to see! Thank God, there wasn't any body inside. But there were body parts! Of course, the parts were wrapped in a yellow bag, so it wasn't that obvious. And guess what. The route entrance to the actual storage area is long. Very looooonnnnnngggg. Imagine the uncle has to push the body all the way from the entrance to the fridge ALONE!
Of all the departments, I think the mortuary's the most interesting. (I'm not psychic)
I don't regret going for the trip today. At least it was more fulfilling all the other trips I've had.

Whoots!
I DROVE ALONE TODAY!!!
and...
IT'S NOT EVEN MY DAD'S CAR!
it was....
GODDADDY'S CAR!
whoa... he actually trusted me with his about half a year old car.
Really thank God that that short time I drove alone.
I also thank goddaddy for the chance to drive ALONE!
haha...
you know, my own dad doesn't even allow me to drive alone in his car.
So, I'm really thankful for the opportunity given today!

The time at Special Kids Ministry today was really special.
When Aunty Jenny told me I won't be taking Ning Xiang today, I was disappointed. But Joanne kinda cheered me up a little. Joanne's a special needs kid but I tell you. This girl, she's won 3 OLYMPIC medals in various sports! Gosh! She can be very nice if she wants, but when she wants things, she wants it her way. A little harder to control than Ning Xiang.
Then...
Before Ning Xiang left the sunday school classroom to look for his parents, he came up to me and said 'bye bye my silly girl'. My goodness. I was shocked. Then he turned to Aunty Jenny and told her that I was his cute cute girl! Gosh!
Then came my first KISS from a GUY!
After he told Aunty Jenny I was his cute cute girl, he hugged and and KISSED me! You cannot have imagined the expression on my face. I was stunned. Totally stunned. His other teacher, Andy, who takes him as well, went 'Naughty Ning Xiang arh'. Oh man... my face must have been sooooo soooo red.
But that kiss meant a lot to me. It really does. It means that Ning Xiang has accepted me, just only after 2 weeks! I heard from the other special kids' teachers that Ning Xiang does not like to change teachers and I'm really good to make Ning Xiang accept me in such a short time.
Thank you Jesus!

It's the begining of the 3rd week of school.
Things hasn't been going on smoothly.
First, things were in a mess in office. Little hiccups here and there.
Then at school, things got worst.
Evan and Camel finally errupted their volcanos.
They blew off at each other during the lab.
It's not nice to see the once-so-close friends become enemies.
No matter how much you try to salvage the situation, the pieces just don't fit.
After school, on the bus, it was the first time I felt so tired.
The usual 15 min walk home was loooonnnngggg today.
Took about 25 minutes I think. I was that tired.
Had dinner and gosh. My eyes closed a few times.
Told myself I had to stay awake to complete what I had to complete.
Then, my good friend called.
He said he got into an accident.
And he just got his driving lisence. Slightly less than a month.
But thank God, he's ok.

Went to T3 today. It's huge! Like some Giant supermarket in Malaysia.
The classic part...
4 of us went to Macdonalds' to do our project.
All of us ate the Machicken meal. Upsized.
Ate, drank.
Just after we cleared out trays, we took out our laptops and used the nearby plug with our cups of coke on the table, an aunty came up to us.
The convo between the aunty and us (mainly me).
Aunty: Can i use the plug?!
Us: No. We're using it.
Aunty: But you all also not eating from macdonalds'.
Me: We just finished our meal.
Aunty: Can I use for just 1 hr? I only need to charge my hp.
Me: But we need it to do our project.
Evan (my friend): We came here first.
Aunty: tsk! (damn loudly, that section of the macdonalds' we were sitting at turned to look at us)
Aunty: Then how?!
All of us: (keep quiet, refused to let her have the plug)
Aunty: Walked away and asked the guy who had the table for the other pluge (T2 macdonalds' only has 2 pluges)
Guy: Also refuses to give in to her
Aunty: Makes alot of noise (section still looking at her)
Aunty: Goes away finally. Walks past our table and stared hard at us!
The 4 of us were super pissed with her. I mean like it's a first-come-first-serve basis thingy. Moreover, we had our meal there! What's her problem man.

I went to Children's Ministry today. The special Kids' Ministry specifically. It wasn't quite what I thought it would be. I got quite scared when this big guy came up to me like real close just to say hi. He was scary.
At first, I got rejected by many of the kids (maybe cos it was the first time I showed my face there). Then Jenny, the team leader assigned me to Ning Xiang. He too, rejected me at first. But after he warmed up, we were chatting away already. To others, my lame jokes won't work. But these jokes mean a lot of him. Though he's 18, he thinks like a 6-year-old and he knows his Bible stories very well!
He warmed my heart and I actually wanna be there for him. I'm not sure if I'll say the same if I am allocated other kids though.
Now, I really don't know what to do, which to head. I don't know if i should serve in YM or serve in CM. What is my ministry? But 1 thing I know for sure, Missions is where I'll be heading. Pray Pray Pray.

I'm freaking pissed today.
Was supposed to meet my psycho group to do project this afternoon.
As usual, they were late. But this time, very late.
Arseholes...
We have like so much to do and they can still be late!
One said he was coming since half an hour into the meeting time. But come only 2 hours later! wth lah. Worst still, he has the laptop! So without his laptop, we couldn't do anything! He gave excuses after excuses, like as though TP library is not in TP, is in Jurong. Take 2 hours to reach! Then he dare to come and meet with us without preparing whatever this is required of him!! argh... wth. Freaking irresponsible chap.
Another came, but damn smart. Let her thumb drive at home. And in her thumb contains the powerpoint slides we were supposed to compile. And it so happened that the school's server was down. Knowing she forgot her thumb, she didn't look for alternatives until she met me 1 hour later. Waste time.
Then the other one best. He was free and was able to meet on time. But he went to do the EQ and IQ quiz which is only due next week. Like c'mon. What are your priorities man?!
Because they were late, we were late for lesson as well. So by the time we reached the classroom, the tutor told us to come back at 520pm for the group interview. So ok. 515pm, we went back to the classroom and waited till like 540pm for the tutor to finish with the previous group! And all we got from the tutor's evaluation was "ok. I'll tell you how to improve your video and ppt slides next week." (we were all rushing for the lecture at 6pm, at the other end of TP) All we had was a 10 min evaluation when other groups had a half an hour evaluation!
This is what happens when you can't choose your group members, when you go for class late and given the shortcut to everything.
Welcome to the real world. sigh...

Well well. It's 2008!
Blessed new year!
"Forgetting what lies behind, I press on towards the goal"
School starts tmr.
It shall be a good year!
haha...
I'm saying this by faith!
Sometimes, dad just doesn't get it.
It's frustrating when you always get scolded for something you didn't do.
New Year's Day wasn't that nice after all. =(
